2019: Build Build Build... TLTR: Moved to Lucerne city, enterprise WiFi thrived Enjoyed family, parties, designed future routers. Completed half-body tattoo Longversion: In 2019, at 33, we traded the Swiss farm area, where we rented a house, for a lively city house in Lucerne, where the urban buzz aligned with our thriving enterprise WiFi business, which had grown steady after years of focus, allowing me to savor time with Mona, our daughters, and Fritz while quietly designing future routers. That spring, I took Mona to the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, a festival tied to my goth youth, but a car break-in led to a DIY window fix that held at 130 mph on the Autobahn... I also finished my half-body tattoo at Seven Seas Atelier with Jeroen, whose words from years before - “Now we make a man out of you” - rang true as the ink marked time, pain, and persistence, mirroring my journey building secure WiFi through bootstrapping and pivots.
